Moving your clients from My PT Hub to AbanteOS
My PT Hub doesn't document a client export, so copy your Contacts list into a sheet.
You move your own clients, so you decide what comes across and when. Nothing is saved until you’ve checked every row, and you can undo an import if something looks wrong.
What you can bring
- Your client list: name, email and the date they were added.
1. Get your data out of My PT Hub
Make a client list
- Ask My PT Hub support whether they can send you a CSV of your clients. If they can, import that file.
- Otherwise, open your Contacts list in My PT Hub and copy the names and emails into a Google Sheet or Excel file. Keep the “Date added” column if you want it as each client's start date.
- Save or download the sheet as CSV or Excel (.xlsx).
My PT Hub's help centre doesn't describe an export button (checked 22 October 2026), so we can't give exact clicks.
These steps follow My PT Hub’s own help pages, checked on 22 October 2026. Apps change their menus from time to time, so if something looks different, their help page will have the latest steps.
2. Import your clients into AbanteOS
- Sign in to AbanteOS, open Clients and click Move clients over.
- On “Clients from a file”, choose My PT Hub in “From”, then click Choose file and pick your CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file. Up to 2,000 clients at a time.
- Check the columns. We match them for you where we can; change any that are wrong and leave the ones you don’t need on Skip. Each client needs a name, and an email if you want to invite them.
- Check every row. Each one shows as Ready, Invalid (for example a missing name or a date that doesn’t make sense) or Duplicate (the same email twice, or someone who’s already your client), and nothing is saved yet.
- Leave “Make invite links for clients with an email” ticked and click Import. Nothing is emailed to anyone at this point.
Good to know for My PT Hub:
- Choose My PT Hub in “From”. If your sheet has Name, Email and Date added columns, we match them for you and read the dates day first (DD/MM/YYYY).
Made a mistake? You can undo your latest import from Past imports in Move clients over.
Programmes from a PDF
If you’ve saved programmes as PDFs, open the Programme PDF tab in Move clients over and choose a file (up to 5 MB and 30 pages). We read it, turn it into a draft programme and don’t keep the file. Check the exercises, sets and reps before you assign it, because print-outs don’t always read perfectly.
3. Invite your clients
- After the import, you’ll see an invite link for each client with an email. Click Copy (or Copy all) straight away: the links are only shown once.
- Send each client their link yourself, by email, WhatsApp or text. A short note helps, for example: “I’m moving our coaching to a new app. Tap this link to set up your account and you’ll see your programme there.”
- Each link works for 14 days. If one gets lost or runs out, open that client in Clients and create a new link.
- Clients open the link, create their account and can then use the app in any phone browser and add it to their home screen.
Tip: keep your My PT Hub account running until your clients have joined, so nobody misses a session.
What doesn’t carry over
- Workout history, metrics and habits (no documented export).
- Messages and chat history. No coaching app we know of exports them, so keep your old account for reference for a while.
- Progress photos. Ask clients to add their key before-and-after photos again.
- Check-in and form answers. Set up your check-ins and forms again in AbanteOS.
- Payments and subscriptions. Set up your plans in AbanteOS, ask clients to pay there, and stop billing in your old app so nobody pays twice.
- Passwords. Clients create a new AbanteOS account from your invite link.
